Concord is the county seat of Cabarrus County and is located north east of Charlotte, NC. Over the course of the last decade, Concord has become a popular bedroom community for those working in Charlotte due to its low density, high quality of life, and lower taxes.  The city and the unincorporated areas ecompasses approximately 50 square miles.  Among its many claims to fame, Concord is known for auto racing (most notably NASCAR) and is home to many race teams, Lowes Motor Speedway, ZMax Dragway, and Concord Motorsports Park.
